Nell has a lot of fond memories about her father. She says, "My father was very interesting." He barely attended college, but was a very well-read writer and a great reader with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a prankster and treated my siblings and me like adults. He taught me to fish and I caught a 4lb trout when I was 8. He was a fascinating man. "We loved to argue. 'Are humans more intelligent than animals?' was our favorite discussion."
Nell also remembers Rolex Yacht-Master Replica's passion for cars and driving fast - a passion he has passed to his daughter. She says, "He loved fast cars." He had VW Bugs fitted with Porsche engines,Rolex Yacht-Master Replica which were very dangerous because they had no weight at the front. His first race car was a Triumph TR6 2-seater. He later imported a Triumph 4-door sedan with a high power-to-weight ratio. He was an excellent driver, and in his first racing year he won regionals. He also won the nationals. He said that he loved the local track at Lime Rock and that it was one of the few places where everyone is on equal footing. No one cared whether he was blue-eyed or not. He held the record at Lime Rock well over 20 years."
Cox adds, "His favorite times were on the track because it was real." "He said movies weren't real, and that he felt the happiest with just himself and a machine." He was an incredibly gifted driver,Fake Cartier watches and he showed it on many occasions.
Nell was infected with the racing bug by her father. As Cox confirmed during their first meeting, she's always been a fan of speed. She says, "I attended racing school at 21." "I was given a chance to drive in a 24-hour event that required a third driver. I told my dad, and he was furious. He said: "No you don’t!" Get yourself back to the school!
Rolex Yacht-Master Replica's wife, however, did not share his love for speed. Nell says, "It terrified her." It was a constant battle between them. She hated driving fast and he loved it. She had to learn to enjoy it because we all went to see Pop's race. "But I think that the Rolex with the message on the back of it was her totem for protection."
